Long ago, there was a time, when parents told children to read slowly and loudly to understand everything they read.
A lot of things have changed. Today’s children have bigger syllabi to learn. Now, learning experts and teachers ask students to read faster and grasp important points.
Here are a few tips for students who have a lot to learn, but very little time.
Make a Timetable.
Your timetable should have separate time for eating, playing games, exercise, reading newspaper and study materials. You should not only make a timetable, but also should stick to it.

With many habits, the sooner you start practicing and developing good habits, the better chance you will have that you will continue with them. We all know that good study habits are essential to educational success. Good study habits are an important part of any student’s success. We probably can diminish the academic dishonesty by promoting good study habits with students, and letting the students know that good study habits are very important when it comes to school. Still, even procrastination can be overcome with proper study habits, and improving your study habits is the key to better studying. Good study habits are a great tool to have in the toolbox of life.

How To Study.
here is a time and place for everything.This is especially so with homework. Before we even start, make sure you have checked these items. .
1.) Use a desk or table big enough to spread out books, notes, worksheets, work supplies.
2.) Make sure you have adequate light.
3.) A place to study that is free of distractions.
Have you found that place? It could be the kitchen or dining room table, or in your bedroom. Wherever you choose, it is best if you can study in that same place all the time. Now, your subconscious will know that this is the place to concentrate and study. Your pens and pencils, paper, erasers, stapler, calculator, and anything else you use often can be kept nearby.
Reading Silently Can Help Speed Reading.
Watch a group of young children who are just beginning to read and you’ll notice one thing about almost all of them. Even if they have been instructed to silently read, most of the children will be mouthing the words they are reading. Their lips will move to pronounce the words, even though they are not speaking them aloud. The reason they do this is because as children begin to learn to read, they vocalize the sounds of the individual letters and then later on, the sounds of the words.
